I've seen quite a few, nowhere near as common as black or white or grey but they are out there. Very subtle as you obviously know and IMO look better in the flesh than pics can do justice to. Still, I recommend everyone avoids it ;)

I went to pick a white A3 but ended up with Floret as it was on a TT next to the desk I was sitting at sorting out my car. Changed my mind there and then. So glad I did.

OK...that's it...I'm changing to 'yella'!

I see a couple of Flo A1s fairly often and an A6 Avant most mornings .....A6 is definitely Flo but looks very different ...but no A3s

It's not often i see any S Lines or S3s...but bu55er me last week ended up tailing a clone of mine for a full 30 minutes....wondered if he was going to turn into my drive!...and if it was me...!..looked like me

I changed my order to Flo by email...and went in to browse shortly after....and they had an A1 in the showroom....and just wanted to touch it:kissingheart:...feel it...love it lol....a colleague of mine bought an A5 and said it was Flo....I looked at it for a few days a little disheartened ...bland...n-ice but bland...I did a little bit of digging and it turned out to be ICE silver....i had to hide my relief! looking forward to seeing them side by side

You won't be disappointed buddy. I've had 4 silver cars and by a country mile Floret is the best silver I've had. Changes colour depending on angle and light. Love it.

I don't suppose you would do me a favour? Would you be able to get your dealer to screen shot his order screen, obviously blank out any personal info, and send it to me.

It would show the options inc. Matrix Lights and the build week confirming everything.

Don't worry if not... it would just help me when going back to the my dealer to ask why I can't get them and others are. It's been really frustrating that whenever i query them or Audi Uk about it, i get a default response saying I or others are mistaken and I can't get a car with them
I would love to take all doubt out of the equation and hopefully get them moving. You're not the only one this week with BW and matrix lights so obviously there are other issues with my order.

Obviously i would understand if you didn't want to.
I've recieved screenshots from the dealer. They show my S3 order with matrix lights and virtual cockpit with a build week of wk36. (5th Sept)

Have to totally concur of course :)
Ice silver is a very 'traditional' silver - almost harsh in tone.
I find floret silver looks frickin awesome on overcast days with lots of cloud or in the audi showrooms under their sparkly light.
But on dull days, the shade is really dark and just looks amazing.
In bright sunlight, it does look more like a traditional silver but then you see the metallic fleck which is nice too.
It is a very special colour IMO :sunglasses:

Not sure if those PFL pics are allowed on this thread...Mods privilege..lol....it ticks a lot of boxes....I was disappointed in several other metallic paints that only just pass as being metallic but Flo looks very sparkly (oooh) ....very niiiice:hubbahubba:

As many have said before, i cant think of anything better than Floret with Privacy Glass & BSP :hearteyes:! Shame Audi feel us Brit's don't deserve it, i blame Brexit personally...
I've currently got Floret S3 with Privacy Glass and BSP. I have to admit, I'm really struggling to see what the fuss is about.

It's certainly understated, and undoubtedly quite classy, but it's boring to the point of inducing a coma. Ok, it makes for a very nice silver Audi, but since the dawn of the new millennium the silver Audi has achieved a level of ubiquity on Britains roads that rivals the ****** catseyes.

That's true. I like an understated paint job, but even so, to me floret is just a bit to generic and dull.

It's like having vanilla ice cream or a chicken korma. They're OK, but you don't need to look to far to find something a bit more exciting that retains a bit of sophistication but doesn't go for the all out Heston Blumenthal Vindaloo cornetto that is Vegas Yellow.

I'll probably get slaughtered for this but I'm glad they've dropped Sepang. It's too common. Very nice blue but it's been done to death. I'll get my jacket!

That's just my opinion. I've done the blacks, whites, red, blue and silver but for me the Floret just changed the silver goal posts a smidgen.

and therein lies the problem...unless you go exclusive there really isn't anything exciting...especially in S line guise....they are all pretty much generic colours..Vegas IS the only exciting colour...but long term ownership...hmmm......step up to the S3....2 great colours.Sepang is/was a beauty....exciting maybe...maybe not...just another blue in many eyes...I personally love it...see it on a grey day...just another good blue.....Panther Black wowww in the sun...exciting yes...but again mainly black....step into the world of exclusive paints and its firework night...the normal bod on the street can't stretch to exclusive ....of course what does make a car exciting is the car itself....in whatever colour.....IMO of course....

same here ....

Done, grey, white, black & blue on previous last few cars & whilst they were all very nice, nothing has done it for me like floret.
The other thing which I love about in addition to the shade & tone of silver, is how much more cleaning friendly it is.
White was great aslo, but panther black and estoril blue were HORRIFIC to keep clean .. and I like a clean car !
The slightest drop of rain and it undoes all of your hard work & also ultra easy to swirl.
Floret is a breath of fresh air in this respect.

The 4 square inches I have seen of Navarra were nice enough to pique my interest, and close enough to Estoril to be pretty confident I'll like it. Besides, it's a dark metallic blue, at worst only ever be a dark metallic blue. Not likely to cause offence or revulsion, and certainly more saleable than Vegas yellow. Now that would be a gamble...

Very likely to happen. 50% 'bail-out' point on most of the quotes I've seen is at around 32 months on a 36 month pcp. Not helped by the a GVF that's about £1000 higher than it was on the PFL (for an S3), meaning the whole price increase on the FL model has been loaded onto the final payment. You'll need to negatiate a lot of discount and be prepared to see out your contract term to get the best value for your money.

My mantra is load it , ENJOY IT, then loose it !!! ;o(

Exzactly! I add the options and choose the colour I want, not the options that the person that buys it in 3 years time wants!
