rns-e mk2 in audi b7 coding required?

hello,
had the rise mk1 installed and sat nav was working fine and updating location as it should. its an audi b7 56plate originally had a symphony 2, the unit developed a fault with the display so now i have the mk2 unit. trouble is it won't update location and won't turn off when the key is removed. below are the pics i have of the engineering mode software etc think it may be something to do with the pulse?

You always have to correctly code an rns-e when you fit to a new car regardless of Mk1 or MK2. The reason it won't turn off or update location is that it's coded for an A3, which has a can-gateway and the A4 does not, so the unit is expecting coms signals via the can-gateway which is not there on an A4. Get the unit recoded via VCDS and it will be fine.

Hi guys, my rnse mk2 wasn't coded properly either. I have vcds rosstech. Can someone give me a link on how to code it properly or post the coding?
