I use autoglym aqua wax for the quick washes. My go to sealant (at the moment) is gtechniq c2 liquid crystal v3. I also have some bilt hamber double speed wax.

The reason to protect it is that now that you have polished and got it looking shiney, the rain water and road grime will take off the polish etc and ruin all your hard work.

The clay bars are very good. I did my 11 year old car for the first time. Probably never been clayed. Was so amazed after just the bonnet. Clay bars used to be known as the detailers secret, until the patent ran out and everybody could make one.

EGP is a decent last stage protection for the price, goes well with other AG products and leaves a nice finish!

One last question . Is there anything that can be done to the chrome window bits ?? From a meter away they look ok but actually they look like this

From what I understand they're painted and not actually chrome. The done thing around here is to get them plasti dipped and turned black. Or wrap them.

Others should pipe up here, and tell ya what to do, or open a new thread and ask specifically on what to do. The latter being your best option tbh.

Easiest way is to wipe on buff off some AG Extra Gloss Protection. Works very well with the AG SRP.
Can the EGP be applied straight after SRP or do i have to wait for a period of time ?

@zippster Was always my go to when I had a black car. The BH covered any slight imperfections you missed and the PH just gave it that deep deep gloss. :friends:

The chrome trim can't be fixed I'm afraid. Wrapping is an option. Stick chrome trim in the search box at the top for plenty of light reading. :)

So if its painted and looking at 12 years paint warranty will audi obliged to fix it or replace it ?

Corrosion is 12 years, paint is 3 years, I believe.

Get a can of plasti-dip. Tape everything off you don't want to paint and spray away to make it whatever colour you want. If you don't like it, peel it off and start again.

Looking fantastic. If you get bored AG HD Wax is good value and lasts well. Don't put it over the top of EGP though. It won't bond properly. Odd because usually wax over sealant is fine but not in this case. AG confirmed it was not recommended.

Im not thinking of changing the products. EGP will do for now especially after using it 2 times i still have the bottle almost full . it does last for long time

I really dont want to haha . If i will do the trim i would need to do the front and back and mirrors . Otherwise will not look right

But after looking online i will try this
