Sorry if this has been posted before but I can't see to find a definitive answer..

Does anyone know the "height" / distance from the car floor to the ground. And What that is compared to a B7 A4.

I know this depends on Types and Alloys (Both Cars above are S-Line with 18" Alloys).

I ask as I have a steep driveway and if I put my B7 on the wrong angle it will scrap on the bottom. Was wondering if I'm going to be in the same situation when the B9 arrives.

I don't know the numbers, but it will depend on what suspension you have opted for, i.e. S-line or Comfort-Dynamic?
I have an S-line with the latter and it sits 20mm higher than S-line with Sports setup, I chose this for the reasons you mention, driveway etc.

Standard S-Line on the B9. Didn't realize that the Comfort-Dynamic raised it 20mm... might have to see if I can have option added.
Its not a problem if its no lower than the B7.. Just have to pull off and on sideways...

I just had to un-tick the sports suspension option - no-cost option, a bit like the 18" Dynamic design alloys...
What status is your car? Changing may be costly, timewise?

It was only ordered 2? weeks ago. I don't have the build number yet to track it, but I can't imagine i'm close to the 4 week lock out period already so should be able to change it.

But again, it might not be necessary.

Yes, I would think changing wouldn't be a problem, at that stage.
It really depends if you want a sporty setup, mine certainly isn't but I can switch to Dynamic, which stiffens things up, otherwise it just glides over potholes (tons of those around where I live).
