Yes it is,id never seen one before, only heard about them,i had to snatch the closest mobile to get a picture.

I had to do a double take on that pics, as I thought it was a Hummingbird in the last shot.
I can see why it take that name.
Great catch @Ro55.

Thanks, Suer i will try to get a thread done this week about it and what plants attract what. to look at my garden most people think it just a mass of weeds but most the plants in it are just to attract bee's and butterfly's

Read a bit about them before, (a family member keeps Bee's).
They are pretty dangerous and no wonder DEFRA don't want them here, our Bee's are on the decline without that things.

Few photos from a walk round Hogganfield Loch earlier in the week-

On the subject of wildlife , I get foxes , badgers , and hedgehogs in my garden and recently deer walking up the road on early mornings
I feed them all especially the little birds
A few weeks ago my old neighbour knocked my door and asked us not to feed the birds as the were landing on his aerial and making a mess of his driveway
Him being 90 years old and me being nice I've stopped feeding the birds
Well he came to my wife yesterday and said thanks very much for not feeding the birds as his drive has never been so clean
My wife said that's nice as ours is littered with dead birds because they starved to death

Don't stop feeding our feathered friends man! They have come to depend on you now, and they will have chicks soon this time of year.
Tell the old ****** to buzz off!

Im no photographer, but camped at a wildlife park yesterday and nabbed the camera off my other half to take a few shots. These huskies were too gorgeous not to post up.
