What have you done to your A4 b6 today?

ill dig the recipt out tomorow and let you know, all i can remember is it was over £15 more than the dealer. which couldnt even supply me with the correct grill. so i dont use my local dealer anymore i go straight to tps.

Parked her up for the last time on monday morning, because new one was picked up Monday afternoon :-D

Ok.. Just to be sure.. The headlight washer caps and towbar cap don't fit the S4 from the standard one, right??

ok so ill say on here what i did again, i contacted this company http://www.sgs-engineering.com i gave them my original part numbers and specs of my original struts and they made some to my custom new specs a little stronger to help lift the boot lid a little quicker. i then sourced this company and ordered some heavy duty die springs http://www.bearingboys.co.uk/Die-Springs-2428-c and i just used a washer to space it out a bit. hope this helps a little any questions just ask guys

Went and saw a body shop about the demon rust.
Not sure what to do. £280 for front wing paint and repair but rust could be back very soon or £800 for new wings/paint and fit etc. then there is the roof rail bubbles and rear arches too. Too much monies to shell out just now

Best bet is second hand, rust free wings from a car of the same age and colour

I just paid £500 for door dent repair, new wing (not repair) and half bumper spray which I think is cheap.my 1st quote was £1k. Looks like new now.

You can buy a ready sprayed wing for £90 off eBay & then fit it / get someone to. My guy said £100 to take off & fit it each = half price of quote. Would your garage blend it in for their quote?

hi mate the standard a4 fog lights will not fit your s4 bumper they are totally diffrent. i have got some spare washer guides if you get stuck.

i had a busy couple of days been sripping my a4 avant that ive just aquired, wil post some pics up tomorow. when its not raining.

Got the s4 Fog lights but I'm thinking of that green thing.. But I've ordered the mount kit
8e0 898 193
It should contain every thing needed

the green captive nuts hold the fog lights to the bumper. the white plates go in each end of the bumper to hold the outer grills in place. the black screws secure the bumper to the alloy bumper back plate, and the other ones hold the fog lights into place.

Did some work on the used S4 fog lights..
They are pitted, because they are used, so fine sanded them and gave them a coat of clear...
It is actually quite a good result.. Only thing is the right one got a deep scratch which is visible from a certain angle.. Don't want to bother about it now...
Also found that the reflectors are interchangeable from the standard fog light...

But when time and money is right, then I'm going to order new ones...

Just made an inquiry about the fogs to AZF in Flensbourg where I buy new parts..

Bought the lower middle S4 grille, and it wasn't as pricey as I thought..
Was ~105€
So perhaps the lights aren't so expensive after all
