If you had an opportunity to learn a new skill what would it be?

I will go first, I would like to be able to weld

I'd like too learn code. Nae chance of that happening but if I ever got the time/chance. :sos:

Only live once. Go try. I am going to learn to weld. Then I can make things . I keep thinking about it so now is time to do. :) x

Always wanted to able to play the piano.

I was a TIG welder in the nuclear & shipbuilding/repair industry, now im a welding QA/QC (fancy name for weld inspector), welding is a brilliant skill to have!

I would love to learn mandarin, if i spent a few years over the far east with my skill set i would be coming home in my late 20s with a nice R8 and no mortgage.

Be a mechanic, as in a properly qualified and trained one.

I am seriously thinking about jacking the big smoke in, and heading back to N Ireland to slow down and watch my kids grow up - plan is to take a year out, and do some stuff (in no particular order):

Learn to play the drums
Teach myself basic car mechanics
Barbering - to include cut throat skills (in case I wanted a proper trade if I didn't want to go back to the grind)
Learn Spanish
Run a marathon!
Teach my 2 year old how to play golf so he can be the next mcilroy and look after his old fella in the twilight years!!!

.....in a BMW, but then I stopped being a plonker and sold it for an Audi.

Good to see you and some of the old bunch are still here. All we need is 10blazin and we'll almost have a full deck.
