hi all will this ecu fit my 2000 s3 the standerd code on the ecu is 8L0906018k and the new one is 8n0906018n i no it came out of a s3 but will it fit ??

Definately 8N0 for the new one?
8L0906018N is also an APY ECU, but from a car with ESP.
8N0906018N isnt showing up for me.

If its from an AMK (or a BAM) then no as I said... if its from another APY then yes...
What year/engine code (rather than ECU number) is the car the ECU is from?

Not always... My S3 AMK ECU is 8N0 906 018J
There are other 8N0 parts on S3's too

very early S3 had no engine control relay.. so wont work on later cars (narrow band for narrow band)
