S3 on Ebay

In the pic taken from the boot with the parcel shelf out it looks as if it has a concert tape deck
 
Its probably just got a tomtom or similar, you know what these ebay'ers are like!!

Just asked the seller about it, see what he responds with

tbh - I think those seats look a little beaten up for a car that has only done 23k as well, i am not saying the millage is off, just that the seats look a little battered, which probably doesnt bode well for the rest of it
 
The addition of the quattro badges under the S3 badges on the grille and boot look pretty naff to me :sadlike:
 
What is that big bump on the left hand side rear interior boot panel - the one that normally has the CD player and Sub behind it?

I agree it looks like it has a symphony cassette deck in there.

Before you get carried away remember it is a Cat D - hence will go for 60 - 70% normal price.

i think what he's referring to is that he has the RNS-C or whatever its called that puts the information and directions in the DIS rather than having a colour map display. That may account for the strange bulge in the boot compartment too.

seriously, it is possible with Audi navigation - BNS 4.X. It doesn't have ascreen, but uses the DIS.

I think the car is OK (apart from being a CAT D), its just the owner isn't an Audi Geek like the rest of us here - hence his comment about aluminium painted mirror caps...

I think he's getting a bit of an unfair pasting ;)

Down by the handbrake there is a few buttons and knob and directions appear in the DIS. Poor mans sat nav if you ask me.

He is right it works in the DIS and I am sure a full screen can be added if you want to spend a lot of £££.

This is my favourite from the listing "AND A COUPLE OF SMALL INTERIOR TRIMS WHICH ALSO ARE VERY CHEAP TO BUY FROM AUDI" as if.
 
Yup, it's possible chaps, I've seen the satnav in operation in Wizard's car a few years ago....are you still about Wizard?.... Definitely has a dial/knob around the handbrake area, and shows directions on the DIS.
 
Not sure why the bulge is there if its only got DIS satnav, the bulge in the boot is for the tv tuner on a satnav+ unit. I know that as thats where my factory fit unit is, no idea how hes going to watch TV if he doesnt have a screen though.
