Mine is still in 'preparation', I ordered and paid my deposit on 30th Jan, tracker shows order date 9th Feb - annoying! what happened to those 10 days??
Makes me wonder how they plan their production....hmy7k, was yours an edited existing dealer order? (apologies if you have already said somewhere...)

Mine was ordered 11th of January and has been in Quality Control now for 9 days. Its torture... Especially reading other orders were only in QC for 2 or 3 days! You lucky people! :)

It all seems a bit random, mine flew through production and QC and then got stuck at the port.

@Krusovice Yes mine was a stock order which was amend for me. I was working on the end of June when I ordered but I think I might beat that by a few weeks.

Finally Left Ingolstadt!! :) How long do you guys think it will take to get to the dealers? Im guessing it will go to Sheerness since its the Slough dealership?

Thanks

Hi! How did you guys manage to get a build?

MyAudi page only shows stage 2 and the link https://www.audi.co.uk/myaudi-public-api/services/v1/orders doesn't seem to work for me (HTTP 403 - access denied).

Also, I made a change to my order the week after placing and the dealer told me it was fine however the option I asked to remove is still there and the one added is missing.. should I be worried that they didn't make the change?

Thanks a lot!

I wouldnt worry to much about things missing from what i have read this is quite common.

Have you logged in to Your Audi then clicked on the API link? It wont work unless your logged in.

Thanks for getting back to me! that worked!

Although the link gave me horrible news of build week 31 (!) after ordering it on the 27th of March. That's 5 months just to build.... Really hope this is not set in stone and moves forward somehow.... Did the build date change from the original one for anyone here?

Mine went further back by one week but I have seen a lot of people say theirs come forward by a good few weeks

Alex, I ordered at the end of January and I was given an estimated build in mid April. During February the build date on MyAudi went all over the place as late as July. The dealer stood by the line that it would settle down eventually to April.
In February the YourAudi site still displayed the build week without having to resort to a back door. Some time in Feb they hid the build date on the web site. I think because it seems erratic to begin with. In March my build date stabilized back to mid April.
Actually my car did leave the factory of the 9th April, a bit earlier than estimated. Getting it to the UK and the dealer is another story as its still stuck on the docks at Emden. So from my experience the YourAudi dates took a month to stop moving around and the original dealer estimate was about right. Don't know how other peoples original dealer estimate has held up?

Mines on part 8 now! It has left!

This morning I'm now at Stage 5 - Paint shop

Finally moved out of Emden after exactly 2 weeks. African Highway is en route to Sheerness so I guess that's where it is. Getting ready to wait for a transporter to Southampton next.

Hopefully assembly tomorrow!
Does the factory operate 7 days a week, does anyone know?

It seems like the build process is pretty slick compared to the logistics / delays afterwards, as long as you don't get caught up in stricter QC....

Awesome, enjoy!!
When you say exactly 3 weeks from build to collection day, what stage on the yourAudi tracker are you classing as the 'build'? Or did you not use the tracker?

Looking at a previous post by StevoGuide7, in this thread, with tracker info, his car was BW14.
In theory, all things being equal, we should have our cars 3 weeks from today...? :racer:

@StevoGuide7 Lucky you! Enjoy! And post some pics up when you do!

Will do, I "only" went for a Sport trim Ultra TDI in monsoon grey with only a couple of options as I had a fairly fixed budget to work within. At least this spec gives me somewhere to go with my next car.

Picked it up, nice handover. Only able to get a couple of quick photos as was quite right for space in the showroom. Raining now so will try and get some better photos at some point

Looks great mate!
I've told the garage not to touch mine and not to wash it when it finally arrives, so it won't look as good as yours on handover!! Lol
