Been a while since I've posted anything on here but as the summer is approaching it's almost time for a good 12 hour detail of my A4.
So if you haven't already guessed from the title, should I stick with what I've always used (Tardis for the tar and IronX for the iron particles) or is carpro 'trix' any better? I'm sure, time wise it would be quicker (which is appealing) but as long as it does as good a job as the Tardis & iron x does?

Thanks,
Luke

@Luke2.0tdi2010 - I have always found using the IronX & Tardis separately more effective that TRIX alone. I never really got on with TRIX TBH
Don't forget. Always Tardis before IronX. But you know that anyway ;)
However, as you know this Detailing malarchy is very subjective

Thanks Bristle hound, was pretty much what I was thinking, so thanks for the confirmation. I must be getting old, trying to cut corners! Haha.

I use Trix to save time but if you already have Tardis and Iron X just stick with that as @Bristle Hound says. I never have enough time so am always looking for time savers. :)

I had a bottle of Trix as a freebie from Carpro - haven't used the others so can't compare.
But if I remember right t'was evil smelling stuff

I've been using Iron x for a few years now and can certainly confirm that the stuff smells like rotting flesh (I would imagine!) it's actually the most repugnant and nasty smell I've ever smelt in all my born days!!
Thanks for the input, guys. Will stick to 'not fixing what's not broken'!

What's tardis? And do you really need it if like me, you use iron X?
Tardis is a tar remover. Iron X iron and fallout remover. Trix does both. Hope that helps.
@ScottishS3 - ^ This :thumbs up:
If your finding Tardis hard to come by, which sometimes I do, I always use Auto Finesse Obltarate

Probably a little better than Tardis IMO
Remember, de-tar followed by de-iron
