Audi has chosen Hankook tyres as the original fitment for the new generation of the Audi A4 and A4 Avant. The new Audi A4 models will be factory-equipped in various sizes of the company’s high-end flagship model Ventus S1 evo² in 17, 18 and 19 inches. The tyres, which are produced at the company’s cutting-edge EU manufacturing facility in Hungary, feature an especially low rolling resistance without sacrificing performance and savety.

I got the new Hankook tyres on yesterday.
It's too soon to know how they perform as they need scrubbing in,but they do look better side wall wise.
The Hankook have a less stretched look than the Bridgestone did.
Both tyres are the same size etc

I think it gives the illusion of the car being a touch lower:s4addict:

It's raining,so I thought I would try a wet launch with TC off.

Very very good grip/traction already from the tyres,so much so that I think I could do a sub 4 sec 0-60 even in the wet with these

So far so good :)

Paying around £650ish like u done for the other brands I have been looking myself as I have 2 back tyres worn not he outters with loads of meat in the middle

First impressions are very good from these.
Nice quiet tyre, good feedback from them.
Only £121 a corner fitted too

Not bad £££ really considering the other brands u talking £700 for 4

Exactly mate.
I did loads of reading & came to the conclusion that the Hankooks' where worth a punt as they are Audi approved :)

Not sure what tyres you are buying? Tyreleader.co.uk prices for decent tyres are alot cheaper than that!

I ordered the Hankooks above.. 255/35/19 £460 delivered. My mate has them on his quattro and swears by them

I've been keeping an eye on Pirelli Rosso in 19" and KwikFit's current online price beats everyone else, might try to get my local indie tyre place to match them.

I tried the Rosso's, but found they wore out really quick and a bit noisy tbh

Well my car is an S4 and it came from the factory with the Pirelli Rossos on it so as I don't do lots of miles with that car, ultimate mileage does not bother me and I've not found them noisy so far. The S4 set up seems to tolerate 19" wheels without being nasty more than the lesser models do.
