hi, I've a 2.0 Tfsi and I'm changing the thermostat...what a pig however i can't get the bottom hose off? I've been here for nearly an hour now? Any ideas?

In need of a V8.
It's a pig of a job to get that off. Don't use too much force the wrong way as the clip is quite fragile and prone to cracking.
4 hours done, and I'm not doing it again unless someone wants to pay me £100 to do it on there own car. Some advise to help people...take air pipe off in front of fans that goes down to the inter cooler...and take off throttle body...and file lugs on alternator so it goes on properly and as for the bottom pipe on thermostat pull hard from under the car....job done
