Anyone interested in taking a resonated Cobra exhaust system off my S3 saloon? No charge, just two caveats

- I'd take you stock exhaust system
- You'd have to cover the cost of the swap

No problems with it, just not my cup of tea..

Ideally some place in the south-east.

bargain, if i had a saloon id have been keen for it!

get in my workshop now! we'll make the swap ****** fit!

How old is the cobra system and any pictures of it installed?
Why are you changing?
I am in the south east (worthing)
 
Here you go though I had a resonator fitted to the mid-section at AmD tuning this week. The picture doesn't show this.

The car was first registered in Aug 2015, so I'd imagine that it can't be older than that...

It came with the car, sounds nice but I don't like the hum. Fitted a resonator, still not quiet enough for my liking.

Did you get the EML issue resolved that you posted previously that you thought was due to the exhaust?
 
The EML is a result of the de-cat. The warning is something about catalytic converter is below efficiency. Which it is, because there is no cat...

I clear the warning with a bluetooth ODBII dongle, this doesn't happen that much..

It can be fixed with either an OE cat, a re-map, or a sports cat and re-map.

That's me out, I didn't realise it was a decat, thanks anyway
 
I can probably source a cat myself if you just wanted the cat-back.
 
Not sure, there doesnt appear to be an exhaust specifically for a 5-door sport back. Let me check with Cobra.

use an O2 spacer to turn the light off.

I have an s3 saloon in sepang blue, interested on the powervalve one, ive looked at remus and armytrix would like to know how it sounds and how much it would cost.
 
how has nobody taken him up on this offer yet?!

id have done it and make the systems fit if you were in the SW!
 
No takers? even for a cat-back system? I'd source my own front pipe with cat which isn't a problem.
 
I think the problem is that the stock exhaust is actually ok on the S3. Being a 4 pot it's never going to sound any better, only more like a giant fart box. Plus the decat thing is enough to put most people off. Good luck with the swap if you can get one.

I like the exhaust note on the power valve. Farts can be muted with your right foot and paddle. :grimacing:
