Anyone had a new Q7 re-mapped? Got a 272PS and would like it tweaked but have been told from the places I've spoken with that they can do it, but once done Audi will know, therefore not to take it into Main Dealer. Appreciate their point but assuming someone must be able to apply a mask or something to hide that its been done and I can then keep up the Main Dealer service history.
The cars new and I think it may lose value if I come to sell and only has third party garages history.
Any suggestions???

My honest advice to you is ask the dealer if they can offer a remap, and purchase through them. Therefore maintaining warranty (unless they tell you otherwise) It will be more expensive but in the long run if you have a clutch or gearbox fail after it's been done you don't want to know how much that would cost!

I had a go in a new Q7 the other week (got left one as a courtesy when mine went in for service) and was impressed with performance, i'm surprised you would want it doing!

If you sell it with a warrant void you will most definitely lose money. Wait till it's 3 years old if you intend to do it by other means.

we offer our latest MP-T system for the latest 3.0 272PS found in the Q7, its plug and play and once removed there are no traces left behind.

Good advice will Ask Dealer if anything available. I'd like to give it a little more power, it's pretty quick for what it is and obviously not a hot hatch but I think around 320-330 would be better and most other brands are offering this on a similar engine. I'd love an SQ7 when it's out @435bhp that's awesome :) - can't really justify trading this in just yet as that's a pretty big loss on what I paid and mine has lots of additional toys and packs.

I've had plug in before from Diesel-Tuning and was a pain putting in and taking out.

I was told Dealer can interrogate pretty deeply into whether anything has been done now and this is automatic when plugged in and connected centrally at Audi.

How does the MP-T system work and combat this?
