What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Decided to give my discs and calipers a good scrub down today and got a good deal on some genuine dealer parts so changed my air filter and pollen filter. £26 not a bad price considering my dealer wanted £100 plus to change them!

£100 for an air and pollen filter change :wtf: Thats just crazy, you could do both in less than half an hour, the sad thing is that some people will actually pay them that

Fingers crossed For you Rob!

Went with these in the end as I find it very difficult to find a nice rim pattern and colour that really suit black B7 avants, too dark and the wheels look lost in the arches, also I think a lot of the current rim style/patterns just look to modern for the B7 shape, I think the B8 can get away with a much wider range of styles to be honest as the whole car bodyshape is more angular whereas the B7 is more rounded and flowing.
For me the B7 avant is a nice compramise in styling, classic countours with function aswell so rims need to follow in the style for me , these rims remind me of the le mans rs alloys which I also like but wanted something just a bit different.
Another good thing is that they do appear to have good reviews on quality and fitting etc, also 2 year warranty, so what too loose , not that much really.

no that's fine mate, wheels are a very personal choice thing, the cars colour makes things a harder choice for me , I feel you can get away with more wheel/color variation on other color cars but I find black a much harder choice.
All the alloys I thought would like right , after doing some photoshop pics , didn't look right but looked nice on there own. Then all the rims I deffo didn't like were non starters too so that wasn't a surprise, then all the rims that I wasn't quite sure about (not many and included these ) did look ok on the car , so i'll see how it turns out in the flesh.
To be honest I like the rs4 style ones I have but there is just a niggle in my head about them I don't like, maybe its because they are a pretty flat face style with quite thick spokes, not sure really but need to try something else .
I did like my original DTM's but just too many spokes, i'm sure i'll get there in the end.

I like mine , but I just think the wider spoke profile makes the wheels look a bit chunky if you get my drift whereas thinner spokes look a lot leaner and give the rims the effect of a larger diameter rim, its all about optical illusions aswell.

Today I stripped the last bits that im selling out the car, it now has no RNSE or Bluetooth, I also gave the interior a good clean and freshen up and done a temporary repair on a broken vacuum hose (hopefully it will get me to the garage tomorrow)

well, will you be sad to see it go chap, or glad to see it go.
whatever you go with good luck with it all.

just tracked down a pic of the rims i'm going with now, there not on an audi but still a black german car, and don't think they look to bad for dark rims on a black car.

Replacing upper control arms today. Got one done fine but the other side- oh my god. That twatting bolt! ! ! 5 hours of trying to remove it. Still not out!

Anyone know the cost of a replacement upright? Do all b7 models share the same one?
