hi everybody intend to replace my mk1 rnse unit with a mk2 unit. Would it be a straight swap? if not what else will i have to do. Will it need Coding ?

as far as im aware you just need to code the mk2 RNSe, nothing else mate

Its a straight swap, you may need to code the Mk2 though. The Mk2 is a brilliant bit of kit

I'm selling a MK2 with 2015 maps and 7 digit postcode, you'd be lucky if I've had it 3 months and was sourced by NHN on here so it's a legitimate one.

How much is it forsale for?

I'll be selling it for around £500, it's not officially up for sale till after Monday

Guys would you know the coding for the rnse2? I just had one installed but looks like it's not coded properly.
Cheers.

What issues are you having?
On the DIS is not showing the navigation info and the radio is playing.
Then it switches off from time to time after I drive a while.

I had this problem with the one I fitted, took it back to the seller he tried to code it but no luck, got my money back. He reckons it was the software on the radio itself. Hope that helps.
