Hello,

So I've just insured my RS3 for the 1/3/16 ready to drive away!

I had quotes around 3k!! These are from need2insure and Adrian flux.

Im 26 with 1 year no claim (been on other insurances) 7k miles a year locked up for £720. I found this a great price since every other quote has been over 1k at least.

Whats your insurance with details?

Cheers.

31yo
12 years ncb
clean license.
On driveway as locked garage is dearer.
Fully comp protected £305

Was 265 in December

I should of looked with it being on the drive way i guess. Not great how yours went up though ?

Yea weird nothing changed really. 300-400 is fine by me tho for the price of car and the performance

Multi car £840 for RS3 and S3. I got 3pts in 2015 which caused a few hundred quid increase vs last year. Full ncb and the wrong side of 40 though!

TX.

29 years old, 11 years NCB, Clean licence, Driveway. £480 with Elephant.

27 with the 23 yo wife on the car, it's about £600 a year with admiral

35 year old with 34 year old mrs on policy. Both clean licences, me with 5 yrs ncb parked on driveway
£370 Admiral

is the new RS3 coming up no problem on the Insurers database when you ring them to make a change of car.

Sometimes with a brand new car, if you give them the registration it is not always recognised, so have to give them the model and spec.

will need to sort my changeover in a few weeks for early march.

I ask with mine being mid way through my policy.

I will then shop around when the re-newal is due in a couple of months.

Yea shows up fine tho some had to say it was the 2015 model at start of the year as 2016 hadn't been added yet but is now

Wow....that sounds a bit too good to be true....

I live in a quiet area of NE Scotland. Im 47, 20+ years no claims, wife on insurance with the same no claims.
Premium with no claims protection and nothing else is £270, and thats on an S3!

I did a quick confused.com/comparethe meerkat and cheapest quote was coming in the same...

Id say theyve cocked up, but thats their problem! As long as your paperwork clearly shows the car as an RS3 your laughing!

Yeah check the policy thoroughly when it arrives. Any errors will invalidate the policy if you go to claim.

My a3 1.6 tdi sport is £220 a year. 36 with 9 years no claims. 35 year old wife on it also with 9 years no claims. 12k miles a year on driveway. That's legal included and protected no claims. Direct line.

Here's a copy of the schedule, excuse the quality, printer problems at the moment.

The price on confused was £196.01 with elephant with out the legal protection.
Phoned them up and asked if that was the best the could do, He then offered £195.01 with the legal projection but with Admiral ( sister company)

41 years young with the wife, 15 years no claims, protected.

I currently have 2014 S3 and just checked last year I paid £179.

Mine was £1150 on the RS3:
29 year old
car on drive
10k PA
3 points for speeding
Basically 0 no claims as have been on company fleet policy for years however decided to insure rs3 independantly
I did have a large claim in 2013 however.

This was admiral, the chancers wanted another £700 when I was changing over to the m4! Cancelled and went with direct line who came in at £1250. I reckon it would be have been alot cheaper had it not been for my 2013 claim

They were the cheapest but when I asked the question about 'my friend' had been on a speed awareness course things altered> Admiral Group are as far as I am aware the only company requiring this to be declared and then their premiums go up AND they will circulate to all and sundry. They promised to call back and didn't so I'm sticking at my £293 including protected NCB and unlimited European use NO tracker required.

Admiral for me too, didnt have any no claims either but as wifey's car is with them they mirrored all 15 years on NC and managed from original £460 quote to reduce to £265. 40, no points yet ( possible now with the RS3 tho)

Finally covered for £282 with Nationwide. Added a lady friend and it reduced to £253!!

What are you :tearsofjoy: 87 with 80 year no claims and live in a box :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy: How are these so cheap!

Is that a dead rough area then? I'm in Somerset so most vehicles are tractors or combine harvesters!

Its pretty much the same here, all farming land around me. Not that rough really.

Probably high due to risk of sliding off the road on cow shi-te then.
Tell them its 4wd so no worries.

lol liking that. Not really sure though. I know its cheaper where my father in law lives (5 miles away)

Had mine through today, not too shabby - £237 protected, full NCD, clean licence, 49 years really old and myself and wife driving. I think its all about post codes and crime etc, we live in a semi rural area.
