Yo! I've been on the forums for ages, mostly posting in the 8L section, that's now up for sale though and i thought i would get something a bit bigger and a bit more modern. Thanks to the guys that gave me info on how to test out the S-tronic as well btw, pulls perfectly!

Photos are crap, i'll upload some better ones after i've given it a clean and it's not dusk

Not 100% sure on the spec of this yet! all i can tell you so far is that it's a 2011 S-tronic, black supersports seats, black pack, convenience pack, sat nav (not sure if it's dvd or HDD), FSH. Lots of buttons to press... going to pop in to audi tomorrow and see if they can tell me the full spec (i need to get a spare key made anyways)

I have the same wheels on my A3, in gloss black with a subtle rainbow flake in the clear coat! (obviously replicas, i dont think they made them in 5x100). Not sure what im going to do on the wheels front yet, going to wait for the hole in my wallet to fill back up a bit before i start looking for wheels. These are immaculate, just re-furbed before being sold so would be a shame to paint over them.

I did just purchase my first mod....
Got a pair of those carbon supercharged wing badges to replace the V6T ones

Ahh thanks very much! I did originally want ADS and the sport diff but when i saw this one i had to have it. Looking forward to putting some miles on it now!

Gorgeous looking sprint blue S4 Avant buddy. Great spec too!
 
Nice.

I was looking for Sprint Blue when I was looking at B8's. Ended up with a B8.5 so that wasn't a choice. Think I prefer it to Sepang.

You won't miss the sports diff, you probably wouldn't even know you had it.

I would love to do this for everyone, but unfortunately I can't. It is monitored, and I'm careful how often I use it for my own usage.

Right! had it a week now. and i've got a couple of questions, do people generally notice quite a bit of vapour coming from the exhausts on these cars? when im standing at traffic lights etc i seem to have quite a bit coming out of my pipes, i wouldn't say it's smokey as such, does look like water vapour but just seems to be quite a bit more than what im used to from past cars (although it has been a lot colder tha past week or so)

Also i seem to get a slight rumble from the rear when manoeuvring whilst navingating car parks etc, is this reasonably normal? i had the same on my a3 quattro which makes me hope it's normal despite that being a haldex car, it's not a harsh vibration, just enough for me to notice it.

Definitely loving the car, done a little "eco" run on friday morning, managed to get 28mpg out of it before getting stuck behind a tractor, should imagine i could probably hit 30 if i was on a bigger road. I usually get a bit closer to 20 though :p
 
My S4 does seem quite steamy on these cold mornings so I wouldn't worry.

The rumble could be "diff scrub" stick it in the search box and hopefully you'll turn up some posts.

The S4 can do good mpg sometimes...

Well thats both my questions answered! thanks very much.

Going to have a good detailing sesssion this weekend hopefully so will get some decent photos up when it's had a light cutting, polish, glaze & wax

Got my thule black wing bars yesterday so thought i would go for a surf and test them out today, had some good weather for a change!
