Just thought I'd say hi. I've come from owning Rovers most my life, my soft spot being the Rover 220 Coupe turbo. Had a couple of them and my most recent was at 240bhp with hybrid turbo. Spent too many nights in the yard with the spanners out so needed something more reliable.
Also have a Peugeot 307cc 180 which I've had 3 years and has never let me down somehow, this will now be the Missus daily which only averages about 30mpg on a good day.
The new car, and the reason ive joined here is a 2009 59 A4 avant SE 2.0TDI 143 which I collect this coming week. Went car shopping with an £8k budget and managed to find this car with 96k on it and major service with belts etc... done 10k ago, interim service and full MOT being done by dealer this week. Bargain at £7990.
Plans for the car are 18"/19" alloys, maybe lowered a bit in time and either a crd-t or map and will be pretty much left like that for a while.
Any other forums people could suggest would be appreciated.
