Yeah the timing is great isn't really isn't it .... brand new registration and bad good weather months agreed .... I'm sure by then I will look back & wonder where the 7 months went waiting .... This is the longest I have EVER waited for a car - but it's the car I've wanted the most to be fair, so feel the waiting time is justified :)

Can't wait to share photos of her with you buddy when I get her - floret & black certainly feels quite a rare sight in the forum.

Bang for buck there's not much to knock about the RS but I don't think many will desert the good ship Audi in favour of one...............the only way is up............................................baby!! lol

My brother has the new Focus RS on order. Not my cup of tea, but I'm looking forward to seeing it in the New Year. He keeps telling me he'll have one of the first UK vehicles. I keep telling him, 'that's what you think..'. Me? Got a new TTS coming my way next year to replace my S3. Can't say I have loved my S3 that much. Has been a bit of a let down really. I loved my last one, but this 8v has been a disappointment to me in so many ways. Tried to the RS3 and was even less moved. Aside from the noise it made (sport exhaust fitted) I was struggling to work out where the extra ten grand was going - less is more IMO, buy the S3 and if you really want more speed, remap it and save yourself a small fortune in running costs. Nope, not for me, but the new TTS? Awesome, totally in another league from the S3 AND the RS3 IMO. Can't wait to pick mine up next year.

Get where you're coming from in certain area's, S3/RS3,but l personally think the new TTS is overpriced even in Audi terms £46k for a good spec car with only 308 bhp would rather have a fully specced exclusive painted S3 saloon with change in me pocket

I loved the TTS I had on loan for a weekend but got to agree that think it is overpriced (as is the RS3) in relation to the S3.

Pound for pound despite its slight well documented (and argued) deficiencies I think Audi have hit the price point spot on or maybe even set it slightly low!!!!!!!

As most people have realised as soon as you want to move up in terms of power/performance or luxury from an S3 you start adding £10k to the price.

Yep Gotta agree there, TTS are overpriced, but you can get at least 10% discount which can basically pay for all/any extras you add to the car, so nobody should be spending over £40k on their TTS, which then makes it about right. You can even get a base spec manual for around £35k.
i have said it before....ALL cars are more expensive now days, my mate has just got a brand new 1.5dci Nissan Quashqie (or however it's spelt) £26k ...a 1.5 diesel Nissan!!!

Naw Naw l just want to give that 2 series the Donkey Punch everytime l see it from behind View attachment 75656

Weather's been ok down here mate, some strong wind but nothing like elsewhere..................and still mild so the car keeps gettin the same sterling service!! lol

Good to hear valeting service continues as normal I got a cheeky one in myself yesterday. Just got drenched walking the dogs it's not fit for animals out there really feel for the families that have been flooded.

And up for some banter from the "banter boys"

Bang fur Buck...Fast Fords are unbeatable.....VAG are...in front via technology...ie gearboxes/lighting/Panash...etc...Ford really do try hard...but l ain't going to compare, l have a soft spot for both mate...modern Fords drive better than any other cars at there price...and then some, its only there customer service/residuals that lets them down

Evening Guys.

Glad we all aligned on Fords and Bimmers !

Ford may be good to drive but shizer interiors and Dealers ! No no no I would feel like I had taken a BIG step backwards getting a Focus RS !

Bimmers - that m2 looks horrendous and I could not go back to rear wheel drive again ... Had a Bimmer a few years ago 330i and whilst a lovely engine note I lost a shed load of cash on it too - residuals are $hister on bmw's !!!

Not one for badge snobbery me, I like all cars, wouldn't rule anything out.

The best cars I've driven (incorporating the most character and enjoyable ownership experience) have been Renault.
If the new Megane is as good as the current one is to drive I'll go back.

I'd have to agree my last Renault Sport Megane was more of a drivers car than my S3.

Not a Focus RS fan or Civic Type R.

Need to pop along to look at the new A4. Might go and try the Golf R estate for something different as I suspect I'm going to need more room come car change time.
