Cheapest quality tyre I would use would be the Uniroyal Rainsport 3, gets some good reviews . £91 each from tyreleader.co.uk

other possibles that you may choose

As above I really rate the Eagle F1, A very good all round tyre with plenty of grip in the wet or dry.

The continental 5p

All the above would be good choices, You can arrange fitting through tyreleader or get the tyres delivered to your house and take them to your local independent tyre place.
If you don't fancy tyreleader then Asda Tyres has quite good prices. You can pick the place where you want them fitted locally.I really think you will struggle to beat the tyreleader prices though.

Karl.
I bought some tyres online, but most of the kwik fit type garages wouldn't fit them.

Kwik Fit aren't advertising eagle F1s for 255/35/19. £520 is a very good price! Was it the Eagle Asymmetric 2's you got?

Hi - I have the same tyre size and got 4 Dunlop Sport Maxx from MyTyres online. Paid my local Indy to fit and balance them. Probs done about 1k miles and really pleased so far.

I'll vouch for the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's. All four corners will cost you around £530 fitted using MyTyres via TopCashBack.

Had an offer on, and then found a code online for a bit more off, ordered 235 by mistake, he had to come back with the right ones, should of cost another £20 but never charged me :)

And yes it was those ones

Ah ok, then you were lucky ;-) 235/35/19 is quite a bit cheaper than 255/35/19!

I got some Vredestein Ultrac Vortis for my S4 Avant, same size tyres as you're after, from tyreleader. £460 delivered and turned up 2 days after ordering.

Had them fitted.locally for £40, so £500 all in.

Great tyre, best I've had on any car.

Eagle F1s for me, got them from HiQ who beat all the online prices.
A word of warning about tyreleader, I ordered 4 Conti winters to replace the dunlops on my winter wheels and today, a month after ordering and paying for them, they have told me that I will not be getting my tyres due to a delivery issue and I will be refunded when possible! Very poor service.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport. The best tyre i have ever had and great in the wet too.

P Zeros. These seem to be perplexing tyres to me. I think they have the most mixed reviews of any rubber out there. They are not cheap and it surprises me how many people have niggly problems with them. I would really like to get them at some stage though because, if they are good on your car, I'm sure they are magic. Think I'll stick to PSSs for now though.

I had issues with conti sports on the rear. Rim splitting. I think this day in age workman ship quality varies....

Probably a blessing in disguise. They're the last people I'd let near anything on my car

I 've found that even your local independent tyre places get a bit iffy about fitting tyres that you have bought cheaply elsewhere, first time that happened to me I had to bluff it, I bought a couple of tyres from Mytyres and just handed them in to get fitted - innocent or what! Now it looks like they are Mytyres/Blackcircles "compliant - thankfully!

Audi price match plus £15 per tyre fitting inc balancing and valves. No brainier. Don't get if you don't ask.....

Now Im a fussy git when it comes to tyres, so I wasnt looking forward to choosing my next set of four.Have had Bridgestone S001's before...pretty good, very hard sidewall, conti sportcontact 3...crap, contisportcontact 5p ...very good in wet and dry but would tramline a little, Goodyear F1 AS2 ...great in the dry but would slip in the damp too soft a sidewall, so it was a choice between the michelin super sports or the new cont sportcontact 6. Got the contis from tyreleader £138 delivered each, (Id have liked them delivered all at the same time but 3 came on the friday and the other on the monday as they had been sent seperately from germany). Amazed.Like driving a differant car.So stable and grippy straight away, cant get the traction control to kick in, and no hint of any tramlining. Best tyre ive ever driven on

Just had a price of £148 each fitted for goodyear eagle f1's for my S4 from tyres on the drive.

You have put a little doubt in my mind now with your comments as i have never had goodyears before.... Interested to know more?

I don't think you will have a problem with the Goodyear F1, Great tyre, really good all around . The F1's on my car are due for changing so will be going for the new F1 Eagle asy 3 when they are available.
