I Tryed googling it and searching on here but all I am finding is the emissions check website but looking to see if there's any recalls for other things had my local audi chase me for last 3 days looking to speak to me and have now sent a recorded letter to get in contact with them? Seems a bit extreme for a recall so just wanted to check my car out

I have a 2015 s3 ... Just find it weird for a recorded letter

"We have subsequently established that one or several product enhancements should have been carried out whilst your vechile was in our service department please can you contact out service reception at your earliest convenience"

There was a recall a while back regarding a grommet for the headlamp casings, was informed after my vehicle was serviced and it was certainly nothing that urgent. The sales guy told me it was only something they were advised to check when a vehicle was next serviced.

Maybe give them a call and ask them what the recall is actually for on your vehicle?

Doesn't the letter mention some sort of recall code. I had a Toyota for some years and all the info was on recall letters.
I suspect that the recorded letter is more for Audi's benefit than yours. So they can prove they made contact. You said that they had been trying to contact you for a while.

My car is an october 2015 build and I also would like to know if there are any product enhancements outstanding on my car??

So why was yours in so soon in the first place only two month old ? I can't believe its a recall as why have we not all heard ? Led fix surely must been applied at factory already as it is such new build !!! Exactly what spec is yours ? Manual or auto plus what else ?

Can't help but think returning their call could answer all these questions..

Sometimes common sense goes out the window

I phoned them On Wednesday but was told they where looking for me as I showed interest in an rs3?? ....But yesterday I had a recorded delivery with the letter stating this so was just curious as people on here seem to be more knowledgable than the local audi dealers as you can see when I phoned up they where trying to sell me an rs3

I would get onto them about the contents of the letter then to be honest, as far as I'm aware, and a few others it seems, there isn't much on the recall list for such a new car. What I previously mentioned affected cars delivered in early 2014, something that should be correct from the factory by now.

Let us know if you get anywhere as I'm now curious..

UPDATE

well after getting fobbed about from one person telling me it's a software update and another telling me there's nothing wrong?....

Car is now booked in for a recall regarding the "tow line ankerage". (Uk recall she said)... I asked for the defective part number but she couldn't give me this but I asked for the part number that may be put in and she's gave me 8K0805615

2015 s3

Wonder what that relates to then, try and get some more information when you take it down! Nothing noted for a while on the gov.uk website..

So that part number is for the towing eye itself .... Maybe you should try another dealer !!! Nobody else has heard of anything

Just had my 2014 S3's 1st service carried out and was notified that they will be also carrying out a Recall Fix as part of the work (towing thingy or other) as part of the work being carried out.

On a side note: I was very happy with the price of the service (£197 at Audi Chingford) since other main dealers had quoted around 250-290!

So does anyone know what this actually entails ? Anything to do with Towing eye I would be worried if they have to remove front bumper or anything .... actually I would / will be refusing point blank ! Not having anyone tinkering with anything that does not go back 100% from factory build, been there done that and its never the same

Just called my local dealer and nothing listed for recall against my 2015 s3 3 door maybe it's model specific
