I noticed that my fuel flap seems a lot tighter gap left hand end to the right hand end only very small gap .... are they all like this ? Seems even top to bottom and it opens and closes but I just wondered

Mines gapping very evenly - might be worth getting it looked at I can't see any way to adjust it unless you need to get at it from behind the boot side trim.

Am popping into Audi Saturday so will have a look at some others down there .... it all works but just seems like its almost to the bodywork on left hand side .. and am sure it wasn't like it when I collected ....

So can anyone else just confirm on theirs please ? thanks

No yet seen another car to compare

Thats a bit wrong looking, way too close on the LHS.

I've been waiting for the thread where we all compare our flaps.

Mine's even - having one like the OP's would drive me crazy.

After reading this I've checked my nuts and the misses flap on her A3
And I can say everything is ok.

It should be, its not that old and has been well looked after.
Ha Ha.... They go for miles if properly serviced in line with manufacturers guidelines...:haha:

That's what I told her, Keep it clean, look after it and get it serviced regularly, it will last a long time.
However I am thinking of trading it in for a newer and sportier model.

You always have to look for the next model.
Or at least a test drive.
I would go for a test drive any time.......Persuading the missus is another matter..:whistle2:

Well it your going to get caught I thought I would make it worth it.
I did try for an R8 but that was out of my league
No chance for me either on that one..Not many around where I live.:sadlike:

Glad to see this has just turned into waste of time thread ....

So ones at Audi on the brand new cars seem perfect, used vary. Plus some are flush and others aren't. So I think they are not durable and may distort or move.

So mine has only done 3000 miles and now just looked at mine compared to show room cars. Mine completely different fit, proud top edge, bottom lip and not centred, so I am convinced has moved
