Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone had retro fitted one of the cheap amazon heated seats to their A4 Cab? Link below, hopefully working?
They appear to slide into the seat under the leather covering, and I guess they can be attached to the wiring under the seat for power? I wouldn't expect to wire it up to the CC unit to turn on, the pads come with a switch which you attach to the seat base. I just have no knowledge of car electrics and wondered if anyone had already done this?
Thanks in advance for any help

I've fitted similar sets to a number of cars now (Although not an A4) and is pretty straightforward. You remove the seat cover (the hardest part) then the heating elements stick to the foam of the seat and then the cover goes back on over the top.
You should really use hog rings to reattach the cover, but small cable ties can also be used.

The wiring is usually included with a kit and only a 12V switched power line needs to be connected.

There are better value kits available on eBay. Something like item number 370624116357. I've fitted 3 sets of these to my sisters and mothers cars and they work very well indeed. You could get them to work with oem switches with a little bit of messing should you want to look totally oem

I have factory heated seats in the front, but the kids were a bit left out, so I fitted one of these kits to the rear seat of my cab, works great and the switch is very discreet. Be warned you need to be sitting on it to feel it properly heating up.

I will look at doing this for the rears on mine. The leather can be really chilly

My rear seat installation was extra cheap because I only used one kit spread across the seat base, there is no heat in the seatback, but it is still very effective.
