Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has experience on replacing the part of the door pillar that is visible when the doors are shut. My Avant S-Line has them in matt black, but I quite like the look of the gloss ones. Does anyone know a) how hard they are to remove and b) how much replacements cost from TPS or the like?

TIA

Should be easy enough to vinyl wrap them in situ. Have a search on eBay for 3m vinyl wrap, probably cost around a fiver and your time.

Thanks Sidibear, that not a bad shout. Out of interest, how sticky is that stuff - my only concern is it getting caught getting in and out of the car?

@BarLyn very sticky pal!

I personally would take them off and wrap them as that way you can tuck the vinyl around the edges so there is no chance of ever catching it.....but as @sidibear has said easy enough to do in situ.

How easy would it be to wrap a twin exit Quattro exhaust surround in this stuff - it's got lots of curves to it?

Practise on something curved first but a hair dryer softens it up nicely and allows you to get it into shape.
