Do we think silver wheels would look better on a black 3 door than gunmetal? I am thinking it will look cleaner and sharper
 
Sprayed and sorted wheel caps on Sunday, wasn't sure at first but growing on me and I`ve never seen it done before.

Hi Everybody,

Anybody who ever tried those Audi q7 (18 inches) in an A3?
desperately looking for pictures but I cannot find some!

 
Anybody know HIGGINS personally? I've messaged him but he hasn't been online for some time now. I NEED to know the wheel and figment he was/is running on his car, think I've found the wheel but not sure on the fitment?.. I'm useless with fitment ha!

I found a set! But he wants £600 + £70 delivery,
he said they've just been refurbed gun metal gray and got brand new stretched BUDGET tyres on all four? Sound fair?
Tyres are 215/35/18

Don't sound bad to me mate I paid £500 just for the wheels without tyres!
I'm running 225/40/18 on mine!

I'm running flat fives or fat fives some people call them on my b6 ( some pictures are in here) lovely set of oem wheels and look nice on the right car I picked mine up for 450 with tyres I'm not sure the bloke realised how rare they was I nearly ripped his arm off for them lol a good set goes between 550 and 650. I'm running 215/40/18 on mine nice subtle stretch nothing major just gives the arches more room with 15mm spacer up front and a 10mm on the rear

I think I might buy them then! If the tyres sent to my liking at least I can use them as run arounds :) would you say the spacers are need for proper fitment or do they just give it a better stance? :)
 
For me it's about the stance and wheel fitment to my arches but you can run without spacers just depends what look your going for. If you look in my project thread you can see loads of pictures of how they sit and look etc

On the a3's you wouldn't want a lot more, Iv got spacers lying around but think they are fine as they are and don't rub! Trial and error!

I have a standard set on my A3, one has a tiny mark on it, others mint and all with Michelin PS3's on them.

what off set should i be looking for on 19's and a 30/35mm drop? also tyre size? et45? thanks..

Also I see 10" rims fit, what at would they need to be?

I have some BBS LM reps which are in need of a good refurb as the lips have oxidized but with winter around the corner here in the UK im stuck in two minds:

1) plasti dip the wheels to protect from the harsh weather condition and road salts then refurb them in the spring

2) Refurb the wheels before winter fully starts and add alloy sealant to protect them.

I dont plan to put my stock wheels back on as the tyres would need replacing and I dont have enough money to spend right now.

Any advice? whats everyone doing/done?
 
If I was to put my s3's wheels onto an a3... Would they fit exactly the same?

Are the cars hub positioned in exact same place as one another.

Hard for me to explain what I'm thinking lol haha
 
So I've finally got some fat fives for the winter :D and I've decided against the VMR wheels I posted further up, not a fan of reps! So I've poked around again on the thread and noticed this!

Obviously BBS, thinking they're 19"?? CH's?? I want to know exactly and I'm guessing there's spacers involved with this stance? I have no idea Haha!

Looks like 18's and CK's. The left front looks to be spaced out but, both rears and the front right look fairly standard.
If they are aftermarket, they will be 8" don't know what offset. If they are Audi stamped they will be 7.5" and ET56 offset.

These are Audi 7.5 x 18 CH's with 5mm spacers all round.

The ones you've posted look smaller to me, if you look closely the ones I posted fill the arches more?..

Fairplay mate your car looks the nuts! Saw it last Sunday at Ultimate Stance, have you had the front arches widened? Also think I saw it on Lms years ago at edition38 and for me that was the best look!
 
bought the car with these on. Nice but more for track day than looks. So changed the for ones below.

Hi, yes they will be for sell once cleaned and I've taken some pics. They have michelin pilot sport 3's with around 3mm on each. The wheels are in excellent condition. feel free to pm me an offer.
