Fixed No longer able to upload images

Previously I have been able to upload images by hitting the "Upload an Image" button without any issues, however for the past few days this has not been working and I have been getting the following error message:

The following error occurred: A Server error occurred. Please try again later.

Would anyone have any ideas as to what the issue could be?

*Have tested from various Mac's (the only computers I have available) with OSX 10.10 and 10.11 running Safari 9.0.1, iPhones and iPads with iOS 9.1.

same here, maybe folders aren't writeable?

if not likely to do with mod_security >.<
