APR told me to use it so I would think it is safe. Have it on the car more than a year now and have been on several track events with no problems

If manual gear box. How did you get LC? This is not released on the TSI engine EA888. Only on the EA113 which is the TFSI engine....

Im unsure about the flat shift, is there an easy way to tell other than possibly hurting my car if i keep my foot flat between changes to find i dont have it? Lol

Really don't know. Never tried it. I have S-Tronic so I'll never see it.
Normally they would ask for which RPM to set the LC on flashing...
Did they say anything about it during the flashing?
Tbh i just dropped car off and disappeared until it was ready. I should really give them a phone to get more details, Im assuming its the latest V3.1 map since its got the flat torque between 3-4k for boost surge..
