Looking for a bit of advice if possible, at the moment on my Audi A3 2.0 FSI my centre silencer i completly split away from the back box (back box in theory useless), I have slightly modified the back box pipe so about 50% of the exhaust fumes still run through to the end but alot is escaping due to the clean break.

I am now looking into my options on what I can go for. I will be getting a custom exhaust from the cat back to the tips. My options are as follows:
1) Complete straight pips all the way to the exhaust tips.
2) Straight pipe to replace the centre silencer and retain the back box.
3) Keep the centre silencer and remove the back box.
4) remove the Cat and the Centre silencer and keep the back box.

I know there wont be any performance gains no matter what I do so I'm more going for the sound side of thins instead of performance. Any ideas what would be best, if anyone has any info or ideas to help me along with things. Greatly appreciated. Also hoping to somehow get it to crackle on lift off but I dont know how that will be possible if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks in advance guys.

BCS exhausts, you will get the crackle your after, I'm looking at the powervalve system at some stage, great looking system and good reviews, very well made.

hmm thanks very much mate, i'll take a look. Any idea's if I'm going fully custom how I would achieve the crackle buddy? thanks:)

Watch some videos of the BCS exhausts on our cars, sound like a rally car on full boost.

Is it a quattro??

I have a Milltek Cat Back in stock for the right money if required :)

It's not unfortunately, its a FWD 2.0 FSI, I'm having to go custom due to the cost...I can get a full custom stainless steel from cat back and my cat repaired for 500-600, and any milltek I have seen is easy 700+ so I'm goina go customer for sure, just looking to see if yous have any ideas as to what would sound best and be most effective?
