Well my wife and I are fit to burst.
On Monday the dealer rang to say "your car is going into build next week". Little did he know we'd been checking the tracker and it was already in 'Quality Control'. He caught my wife after a night shift so she didn't correct him as she couldn't be bothered!
He also said "I should have a reg number ready for you soon" Despite us keep reminding him that we want it registering with the Wife's private plate straight off, rather than having to change it afterwards!
I checked again yesterday and it is now 'In Transit'.
I'm going to ring the dealer to say "Good news, our car has been shipped, just thought we'd let you know"
Any ideas how long we should expect to wait for it to land at the dealers? I know (as I have business dealings with them) that parts of the PDI is now carried out at the Port upon arrival, rather than the dealership.
We are hoping we get it for 1st Sept! What are the chances do you all think?
The wife has a private plate to assign so I guess it's time to get that on retention ready to assign!
