What have you done to your A4 b6 today?

Fitted my genuine RS4 gear knob and red alcantara gear gaitor to match the dash trims. very happy with the result.

Replaced rear footwell bulbs and wiper blades. No-brand to Bosch, only the best for my baby

Pulled half the plastic undertray off, then cable tied it back on like a boss haha

Fitted a Mamba K04 hybrid turbo last week to my 1.8t.

A few carefully placed cable ties should sort that!

Just waiting for a new oil feed pipe to arrive and its can go back together for another 207000 miles

Fit new drop links because that ****** knocking was doing my head in!!

MoT passed today with no advisories! 141,000 miles. Two new Goodyears fitted last week - a significant reduction in road noise I note, compared to the previous (budget) Apollo / Vredestein carp.

Finally got round to doing my DRL job, used the dogs with 20w cree's wired through a 5 port relay so they go OFF when side or headlights are turned on.

Got tubby fitted an took it for a run round the block....

Exhaust boxes may be slightly full of oil, only one option... bin the boxes

Ooh very nice! Do post up pics if you can. The Cree's should look great!

Here you go, they are bright enough to use as DRL's and go out as said when side or headlights are on.

Been a while since I was one here last. Latest mods are darkside developments decat and today I had a full decat back 2.5" stainless hidden system made up. Tomorrow it's off for its remap so hoping for some good figures. I'm shocked at how much of a diff fitting the decat and exhaust has made to the car

I'm getting rid of my back box tmra, then on on Friday for a map

If it's spot on Il get a proper stainless made up

Replaced the front engine mount (snub mount). Not a huge difference side by side but it seems to have reduced the take-off judder a little on the 40 degree hill the house is on!

Main engine mounts to be done when I do the timing belt in a couple of weeks.

What engine do you have frank and what it easy?

2.5 oil burner, the only real problem was the top bolt on the engine bracket as the radiator assembly bracket gets in the way. By taking all the nuts off the front bracket and rotating it 90degrees I was able to get to the top bolt. All in about 45 mins.

Full stainless fitted, made a huge difference to the car even before the map. Had to call the mappin session short as the clutch decided to slip on the first run :(

It's done 124k so I'll let it off. Torque comes in soo hard with the bv43 I'm not sipprised.we think it started to slip at about 180bhp

Yeah not bad at all. I'm just about at 170k with original clutch as far as I'm aware!

Any idea what final figures you are aiming for?

No smoke from exhaust at roughly 180bhp so still more tuning to go once clutch is done. Should b able to see close to 200-210 hopefully

Upper control arm poly bushes.....6 hours of stress working with the arms in situ due to the pesky pinch bolts

Chopped out centre an rear box an welded in straight pipes, decat should be here tomoro too :)

Cant wait to do this. Ive never had a De-cat before and my mate said the difference is SO noticeable.

Hope the map goes well

I've just cut my back box off for short term

I'm tempted for a full stainless as a company local charge my mate 270 for a full turbo back on a Leon

So far it's in for a map on Friday @unit9
