I know, I've had a black car before and swore I'd never have another one. But it was cheaper and avaialble so went for it.

Can't argue though that black cars do look awesome when they are clean and do have the best reflection shots. :)

And the bumpers and car paint is a better match! Look at some reds or silver/greys and you will see what I mean. White for me next time :)
 
audi upgrades
White hides scratches/chips/swirls well....just a job of washing the crud off it then, which is easy enough :)

I would have gone white this time, but my old car was white so fancied a change :) Out of interest what sealant did you use?

Had the white car for 20 months from new and no scratches to be seen anywhere when I sold it!!!
 
Gtechniq are now doing an acrylic coating. I've also been keeping track of the Nano-glass coating stuff that's being developed in the Far East.

I know it's not a Audi (Insignia) but one of the guys over on the other forums I'm on posted this in a similar thread. All done my hand. Think it's a pretty damn impressive effort?

I know it's not a B8 or a decent refection shot but as an Audi owner for 20 years you will be amazed what photos you can find on on old phones and hard drives..

What I would give to have that car back again!

Some nice reflections today.

Loving this Angelwax Drift wax. Adds lovely definition on top of Angelwax Ti-22 sealant.

You must be joking BH. She would run her mini as a dust bin on wheels if I didn't intervene at certain points. I've never used Wonder Wheels in my life till this mini. I've done them 4 times and there's still brake deposits. She's a nightmare.
