hello

i will try to fit the rs6 turbine housing on a k04-023

can someone tell a place to buy a cheap chinese rs6 turbine housing

in ebay they want a fortune

BBT did this a while back with Ben testing it on a car. I believe the results were pretty good too :)

I'm afraid I can't help on a source for a hotside.
 
Yes i know great job from bbt, the result was very good.
But i want more
i will port the turbine housing and i want to fit bigger turbine wheel
some people fit k16 49.1mm Exducer and with a 55mm Inducer in the rs6 turbo
 
...or just buy a proper turbo?

Hi Tuffy,do you have any idea where i can find a good exhaust manifold?I`m in the same position with the hybrid because i can find agood exhaust manifold for a proper turbo!

They are that rice on eBay as out of stock.. You should only pay £100 for one. You could always pick up a complete rs6 turbo cheap enough..

I might have one..

The one we did ran the k16 turbine, fitting the actual k16 49.1mm is tricky as the shaft size isn't k04 so modifications to bearings and compressor is needed. It ran 360bhp at 1.5bar and was mated to a modified v4 by vband . I think manifold was the limit this time..

It's a lot of work tbh

i have badger5 exhaust manifold
when the turbine housing its completed i will send to you to do the tricky part.
if you have the turbine housing can you sell

These are my pictures/work on TTE780 (rs6 housings) specials for a crazy project in Norway ;) And used real proper size 55/49mm K16 shafts, TTE bearings

Those shots was before I finished also, was shot blasted and cnc'd after

You can fit a rs6 housing to a v4 manifold even with the k04 flange chopped off and a rs6 one weld on as the bolts foul on the manifold. Only way is to V-banf it and then you can open it out as much as you want.
