Does anyone know a good source for Air-con and Volume controls with the Chrome bezel as fitted to B8.5.
Having just swapped from a B8.5 A4 to a B8 S4 I want to spruce up the cabin a touch.
I have sourced window, mirror and boot release switches with silver trimmings so would like the rest to match.

How about alu MMI controls to match?

They might not have the knurled edges, but I don't think you'll be disappointed. They still create the same look and a much easier option. These are mine fitted:
B
C
.
The matching RS5 ali switchgear was a little more costly, although I just swapped the switches and then sold the MMI unit with my old switches to get some cash back.:

I have all Aluminium throughout my RS4 but the central lock switch gives me two issues:

1: In the US there is a lock/unlock button on the drivers door and the front passenger door and when adding a little extra cash there is a lock button on the rear doors too.
2. Why is this button not Aluminium like everything else, it looks like its been forgotten.

I can find the button set and I'd like to try a retro fit of at least the front passenger one, BMW put their button in the middle of the dash eliminating this issue.

Even the new A8 doesn't get Aluminium buttons.

Looks nice.
Is that also genuine carbon on the dash/clock surround or a wrap ?.
What flat bottomed wheel is that as my S4 has a round one with square airbag.
Cheers.

Its genuine carbon - I did have the brushed alloy which was fine, but the silver painted instrument surround I felt lowered the tone and had to go.
Matt at oCarbon does an exchange, taking the old trim laying the carbon fabric and then resin - not a cheep option, but for me really lifts the inside of the car.
As mines an early 09 MY, I was able to swap over the flat bottom wheel that I'd had on my B6 - originally from a TT S-Line I believe.
Whilst its not as thick as the B8.5 ones, it has the correct steering wheel controls as my B8....and both circuits of the airbag can be used now, whereas on the B6 only one.
If yours is a B8 too, as I gather from the original post, then the wheel you have sounds like my original S-Line one, so you just need the TT FBSW and airbag - ebay again!

Hope thats some help.

Thanks for that.
I'll keep an eye out for one of those wheel styles. Yours won't work for me as I need paddles.
Could you also explain the twin circuit airbag thing, as I have heard about that before but not known what it's referring to. ECS tuning also quote you need to buy a different airbag for the B8 when fitting the B8.5 wheel.
Thanks again.....

Get an RS5 wheel, much thicker and a straight swap using your old bag. It's one of my favourite mods and only cost me £200
Cheers can you stick up pics and details (part number) or PM them over to me.
