2.0 FSI EGR

EGR valve gear has lunched itself on my 53-plate 2.0 FSI. Unfortunately not the larger plastic gear which you can get away with just turning 90 degrees and replacing, no it's the main spring loaded one.

Anything I can do to refurb this or am I looking at replacing the whole thing? I'm not after a long term fix as I'm trading the car in shortly.

I had exactly the same problem with mine a few weeks ago. I also have a 2.0 fsi and seems to be a common problem with cars of this age. Unfortunately no way to repair, needs to be replaced - i got a used one off ebay for £25 or they are around £150 for a shiny new one, part number 06F131503B.

I have the exact same car as yOurself 2.0 FSI...i also have a fan issue...whats your fan issue so i can see if its the same mate

I created a new thread Sean, it's usually good form to put separate issues in their own thread as people are more likely to see them. Hope you get your issue sorted.
