hi does anyone know how to turn on the front amber lights so there on like running lights? Been told can be done using vag com, but he didnt do it his mate did

It can be done - I believe its a case of updating a regional setting to 'North America', but I cant remember which one - I think its under the instrument cluster settings but maybe someone with more VCDS knowledge will be able to confirm.
Only problem is, it's illegal to have anything other than white lights facing forward, in the UK.

Well I'm running amber side lights at the front and it just passed its MOT no issues what so ever.
Funnily enough, something I didn't consider, is that I ignored the fact it's probably the reason my rear brake lights flash with my indicator, and something I didn't anticipate would happen with the adaptation up front.
EDIT: I did not code this myself, the car already had them coded, so not sure what option it is to change, however, knowing would be good so I can make a note
