Read the stickies and few other guides around but I cannot get to the turbo end of the tip to get the old one off there is simply no space at all (can't go in from the bottom because tqs) it's the gear linkages that seem to be in the way, I have a 6 speed gearbox fitted so I don't know if that has made the linkages sit just a little bit further over blocking access, any help on this would be great as I just can't work it out. Thanks

ok... after a re-read I see you put TQS so guessing A3...

If the linkage is in the way then its two bolts and a nut to undo it... two bolts are on the top of the gearbox and the last fixing is on the top of the bolt fixing the gearbox to the block... a little awkward to get to but doable

5 speed on the TQS is still an 02M gearbox so will all be in the same place...

You will just need to remove the bracket on top of the box to get access as I posted above mate... not difficult, just fiddly... like anything on these cars :)

Thanks tuffty il give it a shot, I swear Audi technicians are genetically bred with stunted growth tiny hands, so little room for anyone of normal size to work on these cars lol

The TQS has a K03 and is mounted lower down than the K04... has a stupid tight metal bottom part of the TIP thats real tight on the cables... makes it a pain to get off...

The B5 TIP is close because its huge and somewhat awesome :D
