Facelift/Pre-facelift! Help fast please

Hello guys
So My car has been Damaged in the front

I've been thinking of picking up a 1.6 a3 from 96-97, and use a few parts.. Will they fit My 2001 a3 1.8t ??

Radiator, climate radiator, the front housing that holds headlights and radiators etcetera

Pretty sure all that will be the same... I think the only difference up front is the grill and headlights. . . . perhaps someone can confirm this?

Front panel is different pre facelift it won't have the mount for the bottom headlight bolt

ah hell. So best Would be to find a facelift one
