Snow foamed
2 x bucket wash
De-contaminated
Clayed
Washed
Bonnet & roof pain correction/polished
Sealed
Waxed

Will hopefully get the rest done this coming week

Basic wash, taking great care with mitts and fibre cloths etc. Then 10mins detailing the exhaust tips (no s**t.....hate black bits). Then spent almost as long washing my materials, which are now hanging out to dry. Sometimes think this obsession is going too far.

Washed 2 cars yesterday, then went for a nice drive up and down the north east coast from sunderland to south shields. lovely weather and no idiots. really enjoyed it. its like a Summer Taster!

then when i got back did the glass in and out with Gtechniq G6 Perfect Glass and did the dashboards and door cards with Gtechniq C6 Matt Dash
Earlier in the week, did my brothers brand new A1 with Gtechniq C2 Liquid Crystal (v3) for the bodywork, Perfect Glass for windows inside, Gtechniq - G1 ClearVision Smart Glass for the exterior, 2 coats on windscreen (would've done 3 but was running out and didn't want to get half way through and run out!) and some C2 on the wheels. (didn't have C5 Wheel Armour left but will be doing my S3 wheels in that again after i get 2 refurbished.

Almost 100% German vehicles now. Just want rid of the horrid shitroen van!

Prepared myself to get rid of the 8v ....... Got a new bmw 125d 220ps bi turbo m sport auto with paddles and though I love it, it's faster than my audi, better to drive than my audi, more fun, in my favourite colour estoril blue , it just makes me miss my audi being in it! At the minute I have both but the audi is being collected in the next few weeks and I feel gutted to be parting with it. There is just something about the 8v , really Is a great model.

Don't think it will be long before I buy a new a3 or s3 sportback.

Went out for a drive in the unusually sunny climes that we had up here yesterday, coupled with the fact my daughter is away for the easter holidays at her aunties!
Went out to Banchory then across the Cairn 'o' Mount and back up the A90.
Had a good blast with a GSX-R on the way up the Cairn and managed to get all four wheels off the ground at one point....shan't be trying that again lol

It wasn't my A3 but I took a trip to Audi today and my Mrs bought an A1 :) part of the deal was the salesman to give us the keys to an S3 for an hour haha!! My god it is quick! I always knew they were fast cars, but until you actually drive one. You just don't realise how fast they are. Yet they are nicely controlled at the same time!

On a side note the garages really don't worry about their cars condition, top spec S3 on a 15 plate with 300 miles on the clock and the salesman egging you on to push it faster and faster. Then he took the wheel for a bit. Fair to say it was a brown pants moment!

May well have decided on my next car

Well today i got up at 07:30am, washed and dried my car using snow foam then bucket and wash mitt. De-tar full car, Clay bar full car, 1 coat of AG super resin, single stage machine polish, 2 coats of nano paint sealer and then finally 1 coat of Farecla G3 wax paste and 10hrs later the results are astonishing.

That does look awesome really liking Sepang when it's polished up. Good contrast with the wheels too and probably one of a few colours that looks just as good with chrome as it does the black pack.

Installing Non Mag Sport Springs and Rear sway bar. At least in city driving not bouncy at all, i have to try a track to set a veredict for the sway bar.

Had a drive up to Bamburgh Castle today. averaged 36.9 mpg which i was quite happy with. saying 100 miles left and 270 miles total covered (didn't reset trip for this journey) so was quite happy

Took mine to get its first service (just an oil change) only covered 8500 miles since 1st May 2014.

Some VCDS

i'm told that's called 'safety car mode', does look very cool though.. (but not as nice as the sweep indicators, but hoping that comes as a retrofit when the facelift is launched)

Just ordered a DTUK tuning box, can see this is the start of a slippery slope.

Will be getting the mtm box when funds allow

Have the MTM M-Cantronic on my S3 8V for about 1 year and I'm very happy with.

Never saw a performances comparison between the DTUK box and the MTM one so far... Not sure there is a significant difference.

Someone ?

Hello everyone, first post here. Done a couple things to my S3 but the last one was installing a Milltek Catless Downpipe.

And the reason I'm thinking of taking the box off and going for a proper remap is....

Decisions decisions......

Quick question...shouldn't the torque and power curves both cross at the same rev range???
