Can someone tell me what this connector is?

I have a 2003 S4 and I just changed the wings due to rust. When I had the headlight out, I noticed this electrical connector hanging free behind the bumper on the passenger (left) side. I couldn't see anywhere for it to go but Audi don't put that type of connector in an engine bay without a purpose.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Is that on the right side of the car if looking head on?

If so it is a plug/joint point that hooks up the fogs, so the bumper can be removed.

I was thinking that but surely he would no if his fogs weren't working so seemed a bit too obvious

It is on the right side of the car when looking head on, but it's not for the fog lights. They work fine. I guess I'll have to pull the headlight out again to get the part number. Thanks

Could be for the headlight washer or something? or the auto level sensor? I'm trying to remember back to when I had my headlights off once to change a ballast but quite a few brain cells have been lost in that time :very drunk:

does your car have parking sensors?

it's got rear parking sensors, but not fronts. I'll go get the part number now to help narrow it down :)

According to your previous image, its a wiring harness for bumper. Hmmm, still can't see where it connects to though. Thanks for the help.
If all else fails, I may have to take the bumper off to find it :(

I can just picture you now with the car completely stripped down to the shell trying to find where it goes! :faint:

haha brilliant! were you just changing the wiper blades for this photo ;)

is that an air intake there that is hidden under the wing?
