If your Audi died today what would you buy next?

Which one, a mate of mine has a new Sportage, talk about fully loaded I don't think they could put anything else in it,makes our very low spec standard Audi's lacking something, I mean even the glovebox light has to be opted for.

I've been waiting years for my Audi to die. I can't justify getting rid of it, or abusing it into the ground as it's been so good to me.
When the time comes it will be a B7 S4 Avant or a C6 S6 Avant if my B6 keeps going long enough.
Mine's 14yrs old with 197k so i'd only get pennies for it despite it running very strong and had 19 oil changes.

Kia pro card or Soul.
I think Audi petrols and customer service is sh1t

Old battered Land Rover or VW T4, I don't drive much now but I hate worrying about coming back to a scratch or dink.

My mum is on her second Soul, as we recently lost my father when we go to visit relatives we all go in the Kia as it has much more room In it than my Avant,I like to drive it as it has far more toys than my Avant, in fact this year we will be travelling from the south of England up to the lakes then up to Aberdeen and back down via Yorkshire now don't get me wrong I love myna audi but I think I will be taking the Kia on this trip......... So why would I buy another Audi:think: have I become a badge snob.....

Had a good look at a VW Scirocco and have to say was very impressed, it has made my short list.

Recently took a liking to the B8 A4 3.0TDi! Think an A6 3.0TDi still wins it for me though haha

I'm at 70-30 for a different make now as I want a higher spec straight out the box.

Undecided, but it's the wifes choice tbh.
I'll be taking her Leon FR off her and she'll get a newish car.

Think I've decided on the scirocco, the spec I want out of the box and a little bit different!! But hey the B6 has got to die first

My 1.8T is about ready to die. It needs a new clutch/flywheel, plus timing belt and water pump are due soon and new control arms and shocks wouldn't go a miss either. WAY too many 1000's of pounds to be worth while.

Fortunately my flatmate just had a new clutch and flywheel fitted to his 3.0 V6, along with new brakes all around. It's got all the extras and only done about 60k. He's just got a company car so I'll be buying the V6, mashing the best bits of both cars together and scrapping what's left of the 1.8T. Still love the B6's.

Next project would be an RS4 avant if one ever shows up with front end damage and no engine (ie. " super cheap!"). I'd love to do a B7 RS4 with a 3.0 bi-turbo stroker in it.

Here's one in a B5...
