Out with the old..in with the new!

Took delivery of my new Sepang Blue Black Ed+ yesterday. So so so happy with the colour choice and my decision to fork out for some Genuine RS5 Titan V-Spokes. In my opinion really sets the car off.

I'll start tackling the car today with the VCDS, and interior LED kit from trups. Then have the decision to make as to wether I'll fit the KW coilovers and XENONZ RS5 grill from my old A5.

Anyway I'll let the pictures do the talking:

Lovely, you must be chuffed to bits! Think the V-spokes are my favourite in the line up at the moment.

Haha yes something like that, this is my favourite out of the 3 ive had. Perhaps I'll keep this one for a bit longer, who knows lol.

Yea I didn't trust him with the car so let him loose on the Mrs ha!

Wheels cost £2k but came with tyres and hadn't really seen the road.

Still got the original 20"s it came with which I'll pop up for sale soon.

It's a colour that I had always wanted, but wasn't available in the Black editions.(unless you went exclusive.)

When they released it in the BE+ I knew it was going to happen haha.

What wheels are you looking for? The RS5s?

I love the RS6 but only available in 21"

I eventually sourced mine from Germany as the only ones I could find in the UK were marked.

Funny because the chap I was dealing with kept telling me that they don't fit A5, S5. I stopped arguing with him in the end and told him they were going on an RS5.

The 5 V spokes that you have had retro fitted to yours. Will have to be 19's for me as I don't fancy another set of tyres lol

The crazy thing is on the A4 BE+ comes with the 5 V spokes as an option but NOT an option on the S4! Bizarre! :think:

That car looks simply stunning, I so love the colour and the rims, great choice!

You a def having to go with adding the grill so it ties in with the fog surrounds and imo would be rude not to lower it!

Ahh I see, there was a Sepang blue with them wheels on in the stealers actually and it looked decent!

With them only recently being released I can't imagine them coming up that often lol.

What options did you have on the S4?

The wheels that I originally spec'd on mine were around +£500 on the BE+ but +£1500 on the S5?
Doesn't make a huge amount of sense to me! Ha

I've got a choice to make on the A5 grill as I was having a little problem with the parking sensors being too far recessed into the grill so we're giving me spurious reading. Think I'll get this sorted then get the grill fitted

Coilovers are TBC at the minute due to the width of the RS5 wheels

Tbh mate it's only the Xenonz grills that's ive heard have this problem. The sensor holder is made terrible and barely holds the sensor at all let alone in the correct position.

The sound of having to remove the bumper may sound daunting but it's a doddle.

Is it plastic honeycomb or just metal net ?
