Does anyone knows how to open LED headlight glass

Hi guys,
Does someone knows how to open/separate the plastic glass of the headlight (a3 2008+ LED DRL) like if you want to change it or else. Is it only by heating and then trying to separate, because i saw that there are 3 tiney like nails* going above the glass? Do i have to remove them first.. So if someone has done it or has some pics will be perfect.

i will do on my a3 next week you must first to worm them then try seperate glass from body .but wery slow

thaat metal in plastic i think that hold somethig insade the head light (sorry for english )no problm m8 i will put picutres
can you photo front and fom up head light ..and put pictures

same depends who made head light my is auo motive and its easyto put off all hadlight or say separate glass from body but on others manifactures is to hard tell me what year is car and try to see ho made headlight its on top of or on side its write...

I think you must first heat the headlight so the plastic would be more elastic to take them out... There is some more on the corner and on the downside

But you have the same headlights like mine (on the picture i post) right?
 
yea thats for sre first oyu must heat them whit heater gun but o not use on one spot you must to muve then when is hoot use a srew driver whit flat top but litle one and go araund the head light use glowes!!it will be heat,you must be quick bicouse sealnt who goes araund whill be hard after some time
when separate hadlgiht after must clean corners and hwn put back must use silicon or butil tape depends on headlight and head again to make together glas and body of head light,thit whit somthing and leave 12 to 24 hours to be shure thet they are togheter oter wise you will get water insaide...
 
OMG :D im definitely not doing it like with hummer.
It cannot be seen from the back (lamp hole). You are going to do it with the same lights (or alfa romeo lights because i did not understand correctly)? Like mine i posted?
 
i got audi a3 but we do all had lamps no mather of model of car...i do on mine but i think that is metal or palstic things what you show if is metal i think that they are form projekotrs body you dont have that things on bootom?am i right? they are not from glass somting is hocked fro top lastic bicosue i say that you look insade ,glas is only in that blackbody..
PS hamer always help in that situation....hehhee
 
if you close up on wideo if its same headlaight you will see how deep is glas is in body that things are i am rigtht ots from how you say in eanglish reflectors plastic if you understand me ...ycčose wach on 2:50 and wach forward slow....2 things goes down glas and clear plastic refleksion...
 
Very late to this topic. Has anyone one opened 2008+ headlights? I have done many including A3 to 2007,where you heat up the glue to separate the lens. However after 2007, Audi use a diferent rubber sealant that cannot be heated and the only way to separate the lens is to cut it with dremel.
