Hi guys, ive searched various places but cant find a definitive answer to my querie:
My car takes around 10mins (when driving) to reach 90C and around 20mins (idling)......when at 90 it stay roughly the same. IF however I switch my heater on in the car, the temperature will slowly drop as the heat is taken out the engine. I struggle to see that this is normal behaviour.
I changed the thermostat (bought from Darkside) last night but the issue is still the same.

Does anyone have any info that could help me find the solution....?

Thanks in advance
Barry

Time to warm up sounds same as mine but once there its steady as a rock whether its summer or winter time, heating on or off.

I would try changing coolant temp sensor if I were you, can get genuine Audi part for £20 from dark side, if my memory serves me correctly

If it's coolant sensor, could it be related to my hesitation/stuttering.......if the sensor is faulty?

Got to be honest, I don't know bud. But sure it wouldn't help running if the cars brain isn't getting correct readings from one of its sensors
