First real drive in the s3

so finally got mot done and car on the road, the first 10 mins was great and felt so much better than my Astra gsi faster and smoother through the box, but developed a bit of a problem when flooring it I get a splutter and no power but if I just tickle the throttle this doesn't happen anybody any ideas
 
I had similar type of issue. Loss of power under WOT. N75 valve was the problem in my case. As above you need to scan the car with a vcds cable.
 
Sorted changed the plugs today took Bosch super 4s out and changed for a new set of ngk platinum and wow I'm impressed , I think this must be mapped because with only 10 more bhp than my Astra gsi this thing would leave the Astra in dust anybody know any rolling roads near Glasgow to find out what power it is
 
Gsi is ko3s isn't it? S3 has ko4 so pulls hard all through the rev range. Mine is noticeably quicker than my friends astra 2.0 turbo coupe when it was standard
 
Vauxhall Astra??? Oh dear, thank god you saw the error of your ways. :)
