My first Audi (A3 TDI S-LINE)

Nice mate, how much did powerflow charge for the tail pipe trims?

Isn't that boost guage useless..? My a3 used to boost to 2.5bar

And your taking the **** slightly with your sig..

It may be yes but it's my car and I like it!
What's wrong with it then?

Small update-

Thought while my porsche wheels are on I may aswell get my ronals refurbished as were in a poor state, had them professionally done and went for mid anthracite, think they look much nicer!

Here's the comparison!

Lovely motor. Like the Audi wheels more but other than that great mods.

Small update time!

Sold my Porsches and found a mint set of 19" BBS ch's from Glenda at Fast Car!

And today Iv attempted to make a phone holder for my iphone 6 ready for when I get my new iPhone compatible head unit! Think it came out pretty well for my first attempt, just gotta coat it with something so I can paint it!

Ok mate cheers I have been staking them out on there but no luck as of yet all seem to be Brocken or not the best condition also how did you make the phone holder bit

Yea I know what you mean luckily mine had a good latch on it which was a bonus! The holder Iv made out of a floral foam block and Iv carved it into shape, just applying resin to it now to make it solid for paint!

Bit more progress on my armrest phone holder!
Coated in with resin to make it solid now layering on some filler to smooth out any pitting etc!
Hopefully will have some primer and paint on it very soon and back in the car!

You could get it flocked for an OEM look and feel, it wouldn't scratch up either like paint

I did think of that but don't know anywhere to get it done and not sure on cost!

Update time!
Just realised I haven't got a pic with the ronals back on!

Iv sent away my custom phone holder to be flocked for a more OEM look and feel so hoping to have it back after new year!

Also got a few bits for Christmas most importantly led rears so hoping to get these in soon!
And yesterday I treated myself to a nice new headunit, can't wait to for this!

Watch this space! Lol

Good thread, I'm liking this project! You wouldn't happen to be Mindak off the Astra Owners Club would you? I remember saving a few photos of an Astra G, because I thought it looked quite good!

Astra coupe sideskirts

Astra irmscher rear spoiler

EDIT: Just seen that the plates match up! :)

Hi mate was a little fiddly due to routing the mic, Gps, usb extensions but if you get the correct wiring harness it's not so bad! You can buy this unit from a few places but I reserved mine from my local halfords!
As for lights Iv just got the originals with phillips diamond vision bulbs!
And yes I have still got it and planning to sell it! Cheers

Haha cool, yeah I used to keep an eye on your project thread. Never had an Astra myself, but always thought they looked good with a few subtle upgrades. Wouldn't mind an SRi-T, or a coupe turbo. Funny how the Audi S-Line Ronal 5 spokes look similar to the 17" Turbo wheels!

That was a busy thread that lots of hours went into that thing and seems the audi's going the same way! Lol

Update!

My custom phone holder has finally come back from flocking and well chuffed with the outcome!

Iv routed the sync cable through the armrest itself so all wiring is hidden!

Iv also bought a set of H&R wheel spacers from a member on here so looking forward to trying them this week!

Oh if anybody is interested in my 2nd phone holder I made send me a message!

Been a while since Iv updated this!

Inside I managed to get hold if some Audi TT heater vents!

Got my BBS CH's fitted ready for the shows!

Made a couple of show plates up!

And planning ahead Iv managed to bag myself s nice set of Audi Fat fives for the winter! Wanted a set of these for ages!

Just on eBay mate, Iv removed the rears now as they don't fit that great! Lol

Bad start to the week this week when I somehow managed to crack one if my BBS's!

Managed to find myself an s3 sportback rear valance and diffuser from a member on here!

Got the wheel repaired the following day thankfully then was in the body shop for a day to have my front bumper, numberplate recess and s3 rear valance and diffuser painted!
Here's a few shots in my way home from work with the fresh paint!

Then yesterday I took the time to get the s3 valance fitted!

That's it for now, hopefully should have my facelift rear lights in and coded next week then the rear is finished!
