Ok I do not have a remap my car is standard on that account.
So I bought a revo cai fitted that and it felt great even felt the turbo coming in harder if that's the way to describe it at about 3,500 rpm so all great.
I then received my bcs tbe sport exhaust with 200 cel sport cat had that fitted sounds great. But when using my gears to brake I don't seem to have the same amount of engine braking.
Also that extra kick I got at 3,500rpm from the turbo seems to have gone, and like wise 6th gear at 30-35 mph just it does not seem to pull as clean as it did before the tbe exhaust went on.
I guess I'm saying it does not feel as eager as it did before.
So what I want to no is when my loba HPFP turn up and I get it fitted and a stage 2+ map installed will it all come back together.

Dave

Please put my mind to rest as I'm worried I've ruined the way my car used to drive.

Well I'll give you my thoughts
When you fitted your CAI you'd notice the extra pull at 3500 rpm ish
Once you fitted your bcs TBE you'd gain extra pull right from idle so it kind of blends in up to your intake comes in to play. (Hope you get what I mean)
As all of us with tuned mapped cars you get used to what you have then you start doubting what you have.
When running such a free flowing performance exhaust then back pressure is reduced so engine braking is reduced slightly.
You'll find once the fuel pumps fitted and mapped it will pull all the way much harder is it does already.

Yeah sort of makes sense also what dv would I have on my car I can't find where it is, would it be a G or D on a 2011 s3

u might be having fueling issues if you have not had uprated HPFP fitted yet. I had simillar problems and it was all due to fuel starve between 3-5k. So take it easy and wait for the pump to be fitted or find someone who can scan your car for Fuel rail pressure requested v actual.

This is why stage 2 is **** not being a real improvement over stage 1 tbh

A 2011 car will have a revision D as standard.
The dv is right at the front of the engine,
Follow the dv hose from your CAI as it goes to your dv

Thanks but now knowing I have a rev D that's all I wanted to check for

Yeah as for my loba HPFP I ordered it on last Wednesday still not received it so I called them they said they had run out and I should receive it direct from Germany I'm getting worried now as it's a lot of money to loose don't want to say from which company I ordered from at the mo but I'm getting very little info from them as to what's happening.

I ordered my Loba oump from Samtech performance which came direct from Germany.
Ordered Monday had it wedensday

got my coilovers from GNJ and had no issues, im sure it'll be fine, you just worry too much
Yeah you could be right it's just holding me up getting remapped. And I want it so badddddd.

I think I'm swaying towards a revo remap as well as they have a 25% off winter sale at the moment.

get it stage 2'd then have the map upgraded to 2+ when the pump arrives then.

hows the bcs sound, should receive mine soon

Well all I can say is it seemed just a little louder and more deeper sounding, then when we got back to mine and my mate that been following me got out of he's car said that's the f- - king nuts so I said I could not really hear it so he done a drive by in my car whilst I stayed out to hear it and yep he's right it sounds sweet normal driving but then when booted it sounds like a a rally car very addictive.

Yeah I could do that but as I had payed for the pump thought I'd just wait for it to arrive and just go straight to 2+

Won't have any problems with gnj I've bought Nearly every mod for my s3 and my old Vxr from Graeme great guy to deal with and has some good offers for returning customers so always call him up for prices hope this settles u a bit

Thanks loba hpfp turned 10am Friday so all my worries for nothing, all I have to do now is have a go at fitting it today. One step closer to remap.
