01370 - alarm triggered by interior monitoring
35-00 - -
01368 - alarm triggered by luggage compartment switch
35-00 - -
01374 - alarm triggered by terminal 15
35-00 - -

00955 - key 1
35-10 - - - intermittent

In the mean time I'll be scanning the site and Google, but any help is obviously much appreciated.

TFYT :)

Best thing to do would be to clear everything, then see what comes back up as some of them could be old faults that are stored. The alarm ones definitely are, so some of the others could be too.

Key will probably just be a battery on it's way out if rs intermittent.

The 2nd - 5th could all be related to the central convenience module. Best thing to check with that is that it hasn't got wet as I believe it's under the carpet and is prone to water damage.

Hi, thanks for the reply, we did clear all faults, I know that at least 2 will come back which are the HVAC errors, as I'm only getting hot air through drivers side (which I just need to find time to look at it properly) and the alarm system as I have no alarm siren only the hazards flash and central locking plays up now and again. I went to the local Tesco as they have timpsons in store and he said battery was fine according to his little plastic gadget.

I have pulled the carpet up from the passenger side, and didn't feel wet at all. Couldnt quite reach every where as the seat needs to be taken out from what I can tell.

You have to remove the glove box which will reveal the motors for the vents.

When you say no alarm sounds do you mean at all, or just when you lock/unlock it?
You have to enable the alarm chirp with VCDS to work when locking/unlocking, but if it's not working at all then the batteries in the siren have probably gone.

I think there are threads on both of these fixes in the how to sticky.

Yeah there's no alarm sound at all, and the red light on the door stays solid for a short period of time before it starts to flash again. There are threads covering both topics I wasn't sure if like all of the errors linked with central conv is because of one thing or multiple problems. I've yet to check the loom going into both doors and both modules and the siren seems like a right pain in the **** to get too, I just can't get the carpet away

Thanks for replying I did come across that when searching the fault codes. The Ross tech wiki is pretty good, I just need to find sometime to just getting round to trying to solve the problems

Just thought I'd update. Got the car scanned again, and every code came back so...
- Is the coolant sensor best to replace for the sake of a fiver? Any tips on replacing it, getting a spanner or socket to it or Is it the stupid plastic tab clip style
- Tips on getting to the alarm siren? Can't get the carpet away

A Fiver?!

Only if it's a genuine Audi part is it worth fitting. Pattern parts are known to cause a lot of problems with this part. Should be very simple to fit a CTS, but I'm not familiar with the petrol engine. On my diesel it's the plastic clip that holds in the CTS.

I just searched eBay mate by part number. If it's best to get genuine then thats okay. As long as its not ridiculous price
