Driveshaft Issues - Help!!!

Hi

Can anyone help!! I bought a pair of used driveshafts off e-bay and my garage tried to fit them and told me they were the wrong one's!! I have looked online and see that they are for the TT and S3 8L. I have a 2002 S3 and the drive shafts are:

1J0407271FD
1J0407272FQ

Can anyone confirm that they should fit my car?

I think they are 2 different types of drive shafts that come on these.

Googling the part numbers show them to be the nut type outer CV's rather than the bolt type you need for your 2002 S3...

I believe you want the 8N0 part codes..

The shafts you have use different hubs to the ones currently fitted to your car... these shafts are from an early S3/TT... 2001 on started fitting the bolt type
